Yovela Education & Training Centre, Community Interest Company, is a social enterprise established in July 2022, by someone whose lived experience as a “Sickler” gave them the purpose to support the less privileged, those suffering with Sickle Cell and the BAME community, children aged between 4 and 19 years.
Our services of wraparound childcare including after school and holiday activities program permits our stakeholders to participate in enriching activities that promotes and encourages social, emotional, cognitive and academic development; promote physical health and well-being in a safe, caring and supportive environment.
The activities provided include academic support, mentoring, arts & crafts, sports and other recreation programmes that allows for life skills development.
By providing access to recreational facilities acts as a therapeutic mechanism, assisting both children and young people to maintain positive mindset and well-being creating a sense of normalcy in the lives of all our service users.
